Travel in 2018

Looking back at our travel in 2018 we had a great year with many firsts for us. Donna and I traveled more miles this year than we have traveled before at 54,000 miles traveled. We made it to the continent of Africa and the countries of Morocco, Gibraltar, and Northern Ireland for the first time. We visited spots such as the Canary Islands, Madeira Island, and multiple spots in Belgium for the first time. We made it to 9 different countries this year (Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Gibraltar, The Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and England) We met many different people around the world and had the chance to continue learning as we like to do (be a life long learner even if you cannot travel). We were able to go to our first European Christmas markets in Brussels, Ghent and Bruges. They were wonderful and the Christmas tree in Brussels town square was amazing. In the United States we made it to 11 different states and had the chance to travel with my parents, brother, Mother-in-law and friends. We visited the states of Washington and Oregon for the first time that brought me up to 46 states traveled to. This year travel to Morocco, the Canary Islands, Madeira Island were our most memorable stops this year. Morocco had such an interesting culture that it was a great experience.

In 2019 I am hopeful we will get more opportunities to travel and we have a few trips already planned or in the works. We wish you all a Happy New Year that is prosperous, full of Health, new experiences and better travel!
