The Bahamas
The archipelago nation of The Bahamas is a land of beaches, sun, colorful homes and a vibrant, friendly people. The nation is relatively new as it gained independence from Great Britain in 1973. The Nation is made up of over 700 Islands and still maintains the Queen of England as their Monarch. You can still see British influence in the country but you can equally see American influence at times. The nation is heavily trafficked by cruise lines and airlines so it is easy to get there. The US Dollar is always equal in value to Bahamian currency and US currency is widely accepted throughout the country. The nation is relatively affordable to visit aside from the many resorts that might be worth the price to stay in considering the beautiful beaches. Donna and I visited The Bahamas in 2015 and would like yo go back to explore more!
