Czech Republic
The Central European country of the Czech Republic is a wonderful place to visit. The capital city of Prague is a true gem. The country has a population of around ten million people and the national language is Czech. It was once part of the nation of Czechoslovakia but peacefully separated from Slovakia in 1993. The country is a member of the European Union but does not use the Euro. The currency is the Czech Koruna and is usually worth less than a US Dollar or Euro. The country used to be a Communist nation after WWII but the Communist regime was dissolved in 1989. The country has multiple Unseco World Heritage sites to explore and many interesting sites. We have been to the Czech Republic once in January of 2017 for three days.
