Early November Travel Deals
As we get into November and closer to the holidays and especially the major shopping period around Black Friday there will be some pretty good deals on travel. For us personally, travel is our favorite gift to give as it enriches you in so many ways. We just got back from an amazing trip to Guadalajara and the State of Jalisco and we had the chance to stay with a local and experience Dia De Los Muertos and local places that really gave us new insight into life in Mexico. Viator is a tour/excursion booking service that we use very often when we are touring places in the US and abroad that provides guided day and half day tours, and transportation services such as transport from/to the airport and a cruise. We have used them for water tours like snorkeling, multi-country tours, day trips to different cities, guided museum tours, walking tours and for transportation. We call it Flamenco
A Flamenco Show is coming to Houston on December 20th! Flamenco is a wonderful style of dance and music that come from Spain. When you listen to the music you can hear different cultures mixed into this Spanish tradition. You can hear bits of Islamic Style singing as Spain was once ruled by the Moors from North Africa. If you have the chance this is a great experience to try. We experienced very lively Flamenco shows in Barcelona, Spain and right here in Houston.
We call it Tango
There is an Argentine Tango show that will be performed on November 15th here in Houston. The Tango hails from Argentina and is another great opportunity to see amazing dancing and music from Argentina!
Candlelight: The Best of Hans Zimmer
Hans Zimmer has written many soundtracks to movies we love. Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Dark Knight are a few of the soundtracks to movies he has written. On November 29th and January 6th there will be a concert highlighting music from his longer career.
