Travel News

Next month and again in 2025 there will be changes to European Entry procedures for Non-European Union countries (US and Canada for example). This will include this year biometric data such as fingerprints being taken when going through passport control. That is currently set to take effect on October 6th but could change (See Link below for more details). The US has had similar procedures for Non-US countries for a while now. Also next year the ETIAS program will take effect in Europe. Non-EU Citizens will have to apply for entry and pay a small fee. It is not a visa but is required. They say you will answer a few questions and should get an answer quickly if you are allowed to enter. This must be done before you leave on your trip. The date for this program has fluctuated and been pushed back for several years so if you are planning to visit Europe next year look out for changes.

The UK is rolling out a similar program to the European ETIAS and the US ESTA called the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) that is going into effect for the US and other countries early next year.

As always contact us at the following emails if any of these deals interest you or you have plans to book another trip. We can help! Until next time I hope you all have a great couple weeks!
