Experiences Close to Home (Houston Area) October – December 2024
Hello again! This is Donna and Jason here! I will occasionally send out some opportunities closer to home you might enjoy. As I say you don’t have to necessarily Travel far to have a great time and learn something new. I have a few experiences coming up to share!
- Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience – This is at McKinney Roughs Nature Park, 1760 State Highway 71 West, Cedar Creek, TX 78612. This is near Bastrop and Austin and near the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Hotel. This is a great opportunity for a quick trip to Experience Harry Potter closer to home! 2. If you have never been to a Candlelight Event at the Lone Star Flight Museum at Ellington Field, they have great shows set in the setting of the hangers at the museum. We went to a Flamenco Concert that reminded us of our time in Barcelona, Spain. In October for Halloween they will be having: Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics. A String Quartet will be playing songs like Thriller, a song from Beetlejuice and so much more. They are great experiences and a short getaway in the Houston area. 3. For the Christmas Season the String Quartet will be back to play classical Christmas Music at the Lone Star Flight Museum. Its another great opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season and enjoy a nice evening listening to relaxing music.
